I felt like the front part of my double-eyelid line was a bit closed off, and since my eyes were already asymmetrical, I worried about it for a while before eventually getting revision eye surgery. I had friends around me who had good results from their first double-eyelid surgery, and others who were satisfied after revision surgery, so I referred a lot to my friends’ reviews. I did look things up on my own too, but stories from people who had actually gone through it felt more realistic. So I mainly went for consultations at the hospitals my friends had visited, and among them I decided on a plastic surgery clinic. Part of the reason I went was because a friend who had revision surgery there said it was good, and I also considered the fact that the director had been focusing on eyes for a long time. I told them I wanted a natural but defined look rather than an overly dramatic line, and when they shaped the line during the consultation, it seemed like they understood the feeling I was describing well. It didn’t feel like they were pushing anything excessively, and they explained the direction that suited my eyes, so I liked that part. Although it was revision surgery, I had it done with the natural adhesion method, and ptosis correction was done non-incisionally. For canthoplasty, I only had an upper canthoplasty, and as the stuffy feeling in the front eased a little, my eyes look more open than before. I was worried about swelling and bruising because it was revision surgery, but it wasn’t as severe as I expected, and I think recovery went smoothly. Since it’s a very well-known place, there is a bit of a wait, but overall, the consultation and surgery process felt thorough. It hasn’t completely settled yet, but so far I’m generally satisfied~
