I’m at 5 months post-op. In terms of scarring, no one who looks at me can tell I had upper canthoplasty. The scar from the ectopic lacrimal gland on the right side is only noticeable if you look closely, but as in the photo, it still looks a bit red after showering or washing my face. It’s not enough to stress me out. I apply Dermatix ointment morning and evening. I’m sure it will improve more by the 1-year mark. I feel like I probably don’t need to go to the clinic anymore, but I’ll visit depending on how my recovery progresses. Thank you.
