Since facial contouring is surgery that shaves down bone, I only looked at places where the director had a long career. If you search facial contouring surgery on apps, prices come up for each clinic, and at first I was tempted by the price and went for a consultation at one place, but they added on so many extra charges (And the place I went to didn’t really do the consultation that well either..) I had no choice but to decide not to worry about the price, and even if it was a bit expensive, I ended up choosing based on the director’s experience first. At the clinic where I had surgery, they took a CT scan, then I had a consultation with the consultant, and then went in for the director’s consultation. Looking at my CT, we talked about what kind of aesthetic result I wanted, and I heard explanations about things like the location of the nerve line and fixation.. After going around for consultations, it really felt like the things that had been cluttered in my head were neatly organized after the consultation? It helped because they accurately pointed out what was necessary and unnecessary lol The consultation with the consultant was good too. There was no pressure to book on the same day or anything like that (the cheap place I went to first pressured me pretty hard.. lol) and they explained post-op care and the safety system very thoroughly too. They brought up the things patients might worry about first, so that was reassuring lol The pain was pretty intense for about 3 days.. lol I stayed hospitalized for one day, had the drainage tube removed, then came home to rest, but I kept feeling like I couldn’t really get myself together. I also had no appetite, but I still had to fill my stomach, so I drank the New Care from the kit the clinic gave me, but for my taste it was just so-so So after having it a few times, I just ordered porridge from Bonjuk and blended it one more time before eating it.. I couldn’t open my mouth properly, so I got a yogurt spoon from the neighborhood yogurt lady and struggled to eat, but later I found out that the sauce bottles sold at Daiso are good for this, so I switched right away lol Squeezing it straight into your mouth is unbelievably convenient, so everyone preparing for facial contouring surgery should definitely buy one!! Whenever I ate anything other than water, I absolutely had to gargle, but moving my mouth around was so hard that sometimes I just held the mouthwash in my mouth for a long time. I brushed my teeth with a baby toothbrush too, very very carefully.. lol But after doing this for a while, you get used to it?? Humans really are creatures of adaptation. The stitches at the sideburn area were removed after a week, and the stitches inside my mouth were removed after 3 weeks. Once even the intraoral stitches were removed, it felt really refreshing lol After that, it also felt like the swelling started going down a bit faster?? Oh, and people say swelling tea is good for reducing swelling, but I didn’t see any effect at all lol What worked best for reducing swelling was the radiofrequency care and heal laser treatment done at the clinic, and the next most effective thing was walking as much as possible lolol These days, people around me often compliment me saying my face looks smaller and that my overall impression looks a bit softer, so I’m thinking it was a good thing I made up my mind and had the surgery lol
