First of all, my eye condition, as they described overall, is that I have severely protruding eyes, very hollow eye sockets, really no fat, and different eye-opening strength on each side. 1. ㅇㅁㄹ Plastic Surgery, Director ㄷㅇㄹ They recommended eye-shape fixation, natural adhesion, and epicanthoplasty, and the line was okay too. But personally, the line didn’t really grab me, and it was on the pricier side compared with other places, so I ruled it out.
2. ㅇㅇㅇ Plastic Surgery, Director ㅇㅎㅈ They recommended ptosis correction and natural adhesion. They said I could do an upper epicanthoplasty if I wanted. The consultation time with the director was really short, so I was a little flustered, but the director firmly told me that in my case, a large double eyelid line would not work, and drew the most achievable in-out line possible. The consultant was kind too, the line was okay, the price was reasonable, and it seemed like they had done eye surgery for a long time and operated on many different cases, so I’m debating whether to do it here or not.
3. ㅇㄹㅇ Plastic Surgery, Director ㅇㄷㅅ I was recommended natural adhesion and upper epicanthoplasty. Overall, it felt like a friendly hospital. This director also firmly told me that my eyes can only be operated on with a natural-looking line. But other hospitals say I need ptosis correction because my eye-opening strength differs, while this place says the difference in eye-opening strength is not that large, so I don’t need ptosis correction. Only this place and ㅁㅂ said that, so I’m slightly doubtful whether that’s right, and I’m really torn.
4. ㅈㅇㅈㅇ Plastic Surgery, Director ㅈㅂㅇ I went here because I suddenly had time left, so this was a director the consultant recommended to me there. I was recommended eye-shape fixation, natural adhesion, and upper epicanthoplasty, and honestly, the line was my second favorite. The atmosphere of the hospital and the director felt really comfortable and trustworthy, so I liked it, but even on plastic surgery apps there aren’t many reviews, and once in a while there were a few reviews where it looked uneven (though maybe it only looked that way to me...) so I’m debating. Personally, I also liked that there was no reservation deposit system. (If anyone has had surgery with this person, please tell me...ㅠ)
5. ㅍㄹㅁㅇ Plastic Surgery, Director ㅈㅇㅈ I went, and it felt like the consultation ended in almost 8 minutes... I could see the director was very confident, but honestly it went by so fast that I don’t remember the details wellㅠㅠ The one thing I remember is that both incisional and non-incisional methods were possible, and they were the only one who didn’t recommend canthoplasty, saying something about Mongolian folds in my eyes.
6. ㅁㅂ Plastic Surgery, Director ㅅㅇㅎ I went, and this place had the most varied diagnosis. If I did incisional, ptosis correction and upper epicanthoplasty were possible, but if non-incisional, they said ptosis correction would be useless, so for non-incisional they only recommended natural adhesion and upper epicanthoplasty. From what I remember, the line was just so-so.
7. ㄴㄴ Plastic Surgery Here, I accidentally didn’t designate a director, and the director I wanted was off that day, so I only saw the consultant. But first of all, the consultant was rude, and without seeing the director, the consultant held the line and asked if I wanted to set a surgery date. I wondered what kind of system that was. They said if I didn’t schedule it right then, there would be no price discount, but seriously, who schedules a surgery date after only seeing the consultant? It was a system I couldn’t understand, so although the line was my favorite when the consultant held it, I was just annoyed and ruled it out.
I only went around these 7 places. If it were you, where do you think you’d go? Also, if I do non-incisional, is there really no effect from ptosis correction? Everyone, if the difference in eye-opening strength is noticeable in photos, then with non-incisional surgery, would ptosis correction be better, or would it be better to match the line with double eyelid surgery?ㅠㅠ I have no information at all, so please help meㅠㅠ
