Before the lateral and lower canthoplasty, I strongly felt like the outer corners of my eyes were closed off, so I was always bothered by how my eyes looked stuffy overall. My eyes themselves also felt short horizontally, so whenever I took photos or looked in the mirror, I often thought it would be nice if they looked a little more open and refreshed. So I started looking into lower canthoplasty, and after comparing several clinics, I ended up getting lateral canthoplasty at Lowell.
I had dual canthoplasty with Director Kim Jae-yoon, and I like it because I feel like he matched my needs exactly. Since I’m a man, I wanted my eyes to look just a little bigger naturally rather than being opened up too much, and that’s exactly how it turned out. I didn’t want it to look artificial or too obvious, and I think he took those points into consideration when deciding the surgical direction.
Another thing I liked was that the swelling was not as severe as I expected. Even right after surgery, I didn’t have major discomfort, and I think recovery was relatively quick. It has been about one month since the canthoplasty now, and overall my eyes have become naturally larger, so I’m personally very satisfied.
I saw an app event and went in for a consultation, and I was also satisfied that I could proceed with the surgery at exactly the event price I had been informed of. The cost was less burdensome, and I’m satisfied with the result too, so overall I think it was a good choice.
