It’s been a little over a month since I had double eyelid surgery with the natural adhesion method, and I seriously keep wondering why I only did it now haha. I had the surgery with Director Jang Cheol-ho at the clinic, and before surgery I was really worried it might look too obvious, so during the consultation I focused most on that point. What I wanted was exactly a natural line that looked like “I had it done, but also like I didn’t,” and from the consultation, he set the height to suit my eyes, so I felt I could trust him. Right after surgery, of course there was swelling, but it wasn’t as bad as I expected, and I had almost no bruising, so I was able to return to daily life fairly quickly. After a week, most of the major swelling had gone down, and I consistently went for the post-op swelling laser and oxygen treatment at the clinic without skipping them. Around week 3, the line really started settling in naturally. Especially because it was natural adhesion, it barely looks noticeable even when I close my eyes, and the line connects smoothly, so I’m even more satisfied. With makeup, my eyes look more defined, and when I’m bare-faced, they look natural like my original eyes, so people around me react like, “Something looks prettier, what did you do?” haha. I think not being overly greedy and doing it in a way that suited my eyes was the perfect move. If you’re considering natural-looking double eyelid surgery, I totally recommend natural adhesion!
