First Eye Surgery, 2-Week Review (Non-Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery + Upper Epicanthoplasty))

I’m leaving a 2-week review after getting non-incisional double eyelid surgery + upper epicanthoplasty from Director Lee Hee-young at Uni Plastic Surgery. I originally had monolids and my eyes were on the smaller side, so when opening my eyes, I had a habit of using my forehead muscles instead of opening them naturally. After surgery, that habit naturally disappeared. During the consultation, I said I didn’t want anything excessive and wanted a natural in-out line, and the director immediately understood the look I wanted. They used a stick to directly create the line on my eyes several times and showed me while explaining how it would turn out, so I felt a lot of trust. Overall, the director was really kind and explained everything thoroughly. I had the upper epicanthoplasty done together based on the director’s recommendation, and I decided to go ahead because they said they would do it in a way that matched my eye proportions without making it excessive. On the day of surgery, there was a slight burning sensation, and from the second day for about a week, it was only a little uncomfortable when closing and opening my eyes. The pain wasn’t severe, and it wasn’t to the point that daily life was difficult. Most of the swelling went down after a week, and by week 2, the bruising is almost all gone too. It hasn’t completely settled yet, but I can see the line becoming more natural little by little, so I’m satisfied.
