<Why I decided to get nose surgery>-As you can see, my nasal bridge and nasal tip were really low. I tried getting filler to cover it up (when I dissolved all the filler for surgery, it looked even flatter) and tried covering it with makeup too, but I never felt satisfied, so I started looking into surgery. My nose was low but long~ I like a glamorous look, but because of my nose, I didn’t give off that vibe at all~~~.. It didn’t match the look I wanted in many ways, so I made up my mind.<My criteria for looking into clinics>-At first, I vaguely looked at reviews and went to 3 places for consultations. The thing I heard most commonly after the consultations was >>> my septum was too small, I absolutely had to use costal cartilage <<<. Looking at the CT, even I could see it was small, so I had pretty much decided on autologous costal cartilage while continuing to visit clinics. But none of the places really strongly appealed to me.... There were so many clinics, and even after reading reviews, I couldn’t get a feel for it, so I couldn’t decide and time just passed. Then an acquaintance recommended this clinic, so I went for a consultation. They told me about it because autologous costal cartilage could also be done with a closed approach there, but when I first heard that, I was full of questions like, is that possible? So I went in determined to ask the director in detail. Of course, they also took a CT and did the consultation, and Director Oh Seung-il explained all the nasal materials I didn’t know about and made several plans for me.Silicone + autologous costal cartilage > The director even told me to think about this on the day of surgery, so I did consider it..... Hmm, I felt like if I put in silicone, I might later become more bothered by the foreign-body sensation, so I proceeded without an implant.Septal extension > I thought it wouldn’t be possible because the septum was small, but the director said it was possible (since it would be used together with autologous costal cartilageㅇㅇ)Nasal bridge > I decided to proceed without an implant, but use cartilage particles to even out the step-off.They said all of this could be done with a closed approach, and I was drawn to the consultation + nose shape + the fact that I could get swelling laser treatments for a month with no limit on the number of sessions, so I got the surgery.<Recovery>-My nose didn’t hurt, but because of the autologous costal cartilage, for about two days I felt muscle soreness like I had done an ab workout. I had a habit of tensing my abdomen when walking, but during that time it hurt because of that, so for two days I mostly just lay at home That’s when I newly realized how much I normally use my abdominal muscles......Still, the nose shape turned out much~~~ more glamorous than my original nose, and since the nasal tip was lifted, the nose that had looked long improved a lot too.. The director had honestly told me beforehand that if the nasal bridge was raised too much, it could look bumpy, but still, praise me for doing the surgery only with cartilage particles without using silicone^^ I did feel like there was less swelling than expected even at week 1, but the real satisfaction started from week 2.. And by the 1-month mark, I had recovered well without anything bothering me, so I bought a meal for the friend who introduced me to the clinic >3<Since there’s no open-surgery scar anyway once it gets just a bit more natural, I’m planning to keep my nose surgery a secret from new acquaintances I meet......
