Before surgery, my biggest concern was that my face looked overall broad and flat. Especially when taking photos from the front or side, my cheekbones stood out and made my face look large, so I was always conscious of it. I tried covering it with contouring and hairstyles, but there were limits, and it became stressful seeing myself worry about angles every time I took photos. After thinking about it for a long time, I decided to have cheekbone surgery with Director Oh Jung-seok at Yungwakui Jeongseok.
The biggest change I felt after surgery was that my face looked overall slimmer and more refined. It wasn’t just that the cheekbones were reduced; the facial contour line connected more smoothly, making my face look much slimmer. I often hear that my face looks smaller than before, and when I look in the mirror, my impression feels much more balanced, so I’m very satisfied.
The recovery process was faster and easier than I expected. There was swelling in the beginning, but it passed without major discomfort, and now I have no pain or bruising at all. I was also able to return to daily life relatively quickly. Sometimes there is a “click” sound when I open my mouth wide, but it is not enough to interfere with daily life, and aside from that, I have not felt any anxiety or functional problems.
My current satisfaction level is very high. The biggest change is that I no longer have to worry about my facial angle like before, and taking photos no longer feels burdensome. Personally, I think it was a really good choice because it resolved my complex.
