Nose Surgery Reviews

Revision rhinoplasty after a drooping nasal tip

I had revision surgery because my nasal tip had drooped. The nasal line from the previous hospital’s revision was not what I wanted, and breathing was uncomfortable due to scar tissue inside my nose, so I decided to have another revision. While looking at reviews in several places, I heard repeatedly that Dr. Choi Kyung-wook was very known for shaping nasal lines well even while he was at another hospital, so I stopped comparing other hospitals and went straight to his clinic. He explained everything in a very detailed and specific way during consultation, and that gave me trust. This was my third revision too, and I worried a lot about whether the desired nasal line would come out well this time. But in the pre-op consultation, he carefully checked everything from the nasal line, to the materials used, to the angle, so I felt even more reassured and confident. I considered this the true final surgery, and when Dr. Choi suggested using autologous costal cartilage, I chose to follow his direction and believed him. After surgery, the pain from the autologous costal cartilage made the first week a bit difficult, but my nose itself hardly hurt at all. I am very satisfied with the nasal line, both the side and front views are pleasing. Choosing to have revision surgery with Dr. Choi was a really good decision.
