It’s been a little under two months since my nose surgery, and because of the foreign-body sensation, dissatisfaction with the shape (too high, pinched nose, nostrils shaped like “11”), and a narrowed nasal airway, I started thinking about nose removal. But when I meet people and talk to them, they say I’ll regret it if I remove everything completely. So I’m debating whether to have a nasal tip revision just to correct the columella, which was my complex, or to comfortably undergo full nose removal without the foreign-body sensation. If I get full nose removal, around when would my nose feel completely comfortable like before? Also, because the foreign-body sensation keeps making me change my mind, I don’t even know what direction to take for hospital consultations. If I remove the silicone and only revise the nasal tip, would it be better to go to a hospital specializing in revision surgery, or to a hospital specializing in removal? Please recommend. For my first surgery, I had 4.8 mm silicone inserted, the hump was shaved down slightly, and donated costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip.
