Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of my first cosmetic surgery: partial-incision buried-suture double eyelid surgery for sunken eyes + an answer to “Do plastic surgery clinics also get involved in community reviews?”

.I had obviously sunken eyes, and my double eyelids were hidden inner double eyelids, to the point that they didn’t show when I opened my eyes fully. Originally, even without using double-eyelid tape, if I made a double eyelid for about 15 minutes with a tool like a hairpin, my eyes would form a double eyelid for about a day (it would last one day and disappear after I slept and woke up). It was annoying to make it every day, and because I kept repeatedly touching the area above my eyes with a tool, I felt like my eyelids were getting weaker, so I decided I should just get it done. The look I wanted was somewhere between an inline and an in-out line..? I brought specific celebrity photos and also photos of the double eyelids I had made myself. During the consultation, the doctor set the line higher than what I usually made, so inside I screamed, ‘No!!!!!’ Thinking about it now, I think that was really, really the right call. I strongly prefer a natural look, so I don’t like thick or flashy lines. (The eye vibe I usually like is NewJeans Minji and Hanni.) That kind of design wouldn’t have suited my eyes in the first place, and it also wouldn’t have matched my overall image. When I asked them to lower it, the doctor said it was about 1 mm lower than the average thickness people usually get. Inside, I thought, ‘Everyone really does them high.’ From the first day to about day 3, my eyes looked like sausage eyes. Even at one week, anyone could tell I had double eyelid surgery. From week 2, the major swelling started going down little by little, and by week 3 it became much more natural. It’s the kind of look I wanted, with the double eyelid thickness I used to create by myself before surgery, so I like it. I think it’ll look even more natural once the minor swelling goes down. I’m satisfied!! ........ Personally, I think my swelling went down quickly. I didn’t drink things like pumpkin tea, but I worked really hard doing eye-swelling exercises from YouTube. I was also diligent with the cold compresses you’re supposed to do until day 3 after surgery, putting on things like horror radio while doing themㅇㅇ I recommend listening to an interesting podcast while doing cold compresses. It makes the time less boring. +I had been curious about “Do plastic surgery clinics also get involved in community reviews?” During the consultation, they said I could get a discount if I left a review in the community.. So the conclusion is that you can say plastic surgery clinics are involved to some extent in the clinic-search review sections on communities.. For reference, I got a discount through something else, so I didn’t do it.
