Pre-surgery concerns 1. Because I had no facial fat, my facial lines looked uneven 2. My whole face seemed to keep getting longer and longer 3. The asymmetry was noticeable too 4. When I wore a hat, my cheekbones looked even more prominent 5. My face had a somewhat rough, heavy-looking feel
Still, my facial features weren’t bad, so I wondered for a moment, should I just live like this? But after I looked into facial contouring once, it kept showing up on Reels, and every time I looked in the mirror, I felt dissatisfied So every time, I kept wondering whether or not to get facial contouring. People say facial contouring causes sagging, and I’m not that young either, so is it right to get facial contouring surgery now.. I kept thinking about things like that, and then at some point I found myself getting consultations
I went to a total of 3 consultations, and although the surgical methods were different, the diagnoses weren’t that different overall.. Cheekbones + anterior chin V osteotomy + chin length reduction Among them, the consultation with the director somehow felt the best? It wasn’t too excessive, and he recommended only the surgeries I needed in a very calm, matter-of-fact way. When I said I was worried about sagging, I chose the place that explained the fixation method for that part in detail too.
After surgery, since I didn’t get just 1 procedure but as many as 3, honestly it hurt quite a lot, and in the beginning I had no sensation around my chin and everything was uncomfortable, but since the director had explained this part thoroughly, I endured it thinking, it’ll probably be okay with time~
But people say facial contouring is like a cosmetic-surgery diet and that you lose weight after it, but I lost a little in the beginning and then stopped. I have PCOS, so I really don’t lose weight..^^;;
I went for follow-ups whenever it was time, and each time I confirmed that the fixation was good and the bones had fused well Even just looking in the mirror, my facial line had become much softer than before, so I felt glad I did it, but seeing it on CT definitely makes it feel even more real.
I really didn’t want to have the pins removed, so I asked the director, and he said if there aren’t any particular problems, I don’t have to remove them, so I’m just going to keep living like this~
