If you look at it positively, it was natural; if you put it negatively, there was no difference. It just felt like I had thrown money away... Usually, when you go for a consultation, in most cases the patient asks questions and the doctor answers them, but Dr. Byun asked me what I felt was bothering me and what I wanted, and also asked for my opinion. For the zygoma, the advice wasn’t the typical, formulaic advice of just trimming the protruding part. He explained that reducing the zygomatic arch all the way to the farthest posterior area would be good for a case like mine, where the zygoma looks severe from the front. I could feel that he had a lot of experience with facial contouring, so I trusted him and had the surgery. Maybe because he reduced even the posterior-most zygoma, the line looks smooth when viewed from the front, and the posterior-lower canthoplasty was fixed to the periosteum, so even now at 6 months, it hasn’t gone back and is maintaining well.
