⸻Last November, after thinking it through carefully and consulting with a specialist, I had medial canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and double eyelid surgery done together. The 3-way lateral canthoplasty, which I was especially interested in, was carefully adjusted to suit my eye shape so it wouldn’t be excessive. I had the surgery at Barabon Plastic Surgery, and during the consultation, they explained the recovery period and expected results realistically, which made me feel much more at ease. At first, I was worried because there was swelling, but as time passed, it settled into a natural-looking line. More than anything, it helped that I rested enough before and after the procedure and kept checking whether the direction matched what I wanted. Now my eyes look clearer than before, but I’m satisfied because it still feels like my own face.
