I visited because the doctor is an ophthalmology specialist, so I thought it might be good to get a consultation while I was at it. Looking back now, I think that may have been both a strength and a weakness. There was a consultation fee, but I heard they do not push things excessively, so I also wanted to hear a realistic consultation, and the surgical review lines were similar to the line I was aiming for. The clinic atmosphere was quiet and clean, and I liked the consultation room too. The consultant did push a little, which felt somewhat burdensome, but maybe because I had already experienced much more excessive pressure at another clinic, it was manageable enough. At the time of the consultation, they said the line had to be designed exactly the same as my current line, so I felt disappointed and thought I probably would not do it here, then had a rather cursory consultation and left. But after coming back and thinking about it, I do regret not asking more questions. I also slightly think that if I had gone into the consultation with an open mind, I might have done it here... I want to go for a re-consultation, but I would have to pay the consultation fee again, and I do not feel strongly enough that I definitely want to do it there, so it feels ambiguous.. The doctor’s consultation atmosphere was not unfriendly during my consultation; he was on the kind side and fairly gentle, so it was okay.
