I made an appointment for abdominal liposuction and visited. This hospital had a 10,000 won reservation deposit. Their YouTube videos were so good that I watched them all overall before going. Because of that, my expectations were really high. After visiting, I had a basic consultation with the consultant, then consulted with the director doctor. During the consultation, besides abdominal liposuction, I was advised to do fat grafting to the hip dip area and also undergo a lifting procedure called Renuvion at the same time because the abdominal skin lacked firmness. The director doctor was kind and seemed to have a lot of pride in the work and strong expertise. I was tempted and almost actually paid. After the director doctor’s consultation, I got an estimate with the consultant, and the cost really was brutal. Since it seemed like I wasn’t going to pay right away, the consultant’s expression wasn’t that good, so even I, who had visited with huge expectations, felt my mood drop. When I asked them to organize the estimate sheet for me, they just told me to take a photo of the chart. I didn’t think much of it and left like that, but later, after consulting at about two more places, all the other places sent the consultation estimates by KakaoTalk and were so kind. After time passed, I felt like I had been ignored, so I started thinking again about the surgery, and other hospitals said it seemed okay not to touch the hips, so it also feels like overtreatment. The director doctor seemed to love the work and have pride in it, but I don’t think I’ll be going there to have surgery.
