The waiting time was not long, and everyone responded kindly, which was nice. I also liked that both the consultation center and surgery center were comfortable and clean.
Even if the consultation took a long time, I could feel that the director was assessing things in a personalized way for each patient. There was absolutely no excessive recommendation, and he made the consultation comfortable, telling me to ask everything I was curious about regarding the surgery .ᐟ He explained step by step, like a teacher, how the surgery would proceed and why certain materials are better for certain shapes, in a way that was easy to understand, which was really nice. I am very scared but also have a lot of things I want, so I wrote down my questions and desired look in my notes app. He looked at them directly and answered, so I trusted him a lot haha.
I said I was really afraid of contracture from implants and definitely wanted no implant, and Director Noh had many reviews for rhinoplasty without implants. He answered that a dramatic look would be difficult, but the look I wanted would be possible.
The first day after surgery was really hard. I bled all day and the swelling was severe, but it improved a lot the very next day when the splint was removed. The director personally checked my progress too, and since my swelling was on the severe side, he also gave me a swelling-reduction laser treatment and injection. It became a little more comfortable, but because of the cotton inside my nose, it was still hard to sleep or eat for a week ㅠㅠ After one week, the cotton and stitches inside my nose were finally removed, and from then on my nose gradually started to open up and feel more comfortable. After stitch removal, the swelling definitely went down rapidly .ᐟ I could see my nose getting smaller almost in real time.
I am currently 2 weeks post-op, and the swelling has gone down enough that I can wear makeup and go about daily life. I am already very, very satisfied with the shape .ᐟ.ᐟ My nasal tip is still lifted quite a lot, but the director said the tip will all come down and told me not to worry, so I am trusting him and waiting haha.
