I had cheekbone reduction surgery with Director Kim Shin-young. For a long time, my cheekbones looked more prominent when I smiled or from the side than from the front, and I really hated how it made my face look wide. Every time I took photos, that area was the first thing I noticed, so after thinking about it for a long time, I went for a consultation. During the consultation, they explained in detail, based on my face shape, why my cheekbones looked protrusive and what changes would occur if they were reduced, so it was easy to understand. They didn’t just focus on making them as small as possible, but looked mainly at harmony with asymmetry and my jawline, so I understood well and thought they were really good at explaining things. After surgery, there was more swelling than I expected, but it was within the range I had been informed about, so I wasn’t too worried. As I recover, I can see my side profile becoming more refined, so my satisfaction is gradually increasing. The cost was in the 3 million won range, and overall, the process went without excessive recommendations, so it felt safer than I expected and my recovery has also gone well.
