4-Month Review After Facial Contouring at a Plastic Surgery Clinic

Honest review 4 months after facial contouring 💫(I’m extremely satisfied with the before-and-after difference… I admit this was a life-changing surgery)It’s already been 4 months since my surgery. Time really flies. It feels like just yesterday I was searching through tons of reviews while debating whether to have surgery, and now I’m the one writing a review… 🥹 To start with the conclusion, I’m so satisfied with the before-and-after difference, and I really saw a huge effect. I honestly wonder why I didn’t do it sooner. The reason I decided to have surgeryMy cheekbones and jawline were originally on the wider side overall. In photos, my face looked big, and it stood out especially more from the side or at a 45-degree angle than from the front. When I tied my hair up, my face shape showed completely, so I was always conscious of it. There was also a limit to covering it with contouring makeup or hairstyles. So after thinking about it for a long time, I made a big decision and chose facial contouring. Honestly, I was scared too, but after going to consultations at several places, I became confident.Week 1:The swelling was at its peak… I really looked like a full moon 😂 But I had expected this, so mentally I was okay.Weeks 2-3:The major swelling started to go down, but I still looked chubby. At this point, I kept thinking, “When will it go down?”Months 1-2:From this point on, the lines slowly started to show. People around me started asking, “Did you lose weight?”Months 3-4 (now):Now it has settled in naturally. There’s almost no residual swelling, and my jawline is clearly refined. My cheekbones also went in smoothly, so overall my face looks smaller and softer. The before-and-after difference is seriously huge.My facial width itself feels reduced from the frontThe protruding cheekbone feeling has almost disappearedMy jawline has become smooth like a V-lineI barely need to edit photos anymoreMy side profile has changed especially a lotWhen I look at old photos, my face definitely looked angular and wide, but now my impression is much more feminine and softer. I used to hear a lot that my impression looked strong, but these days I’m told my image has become softer.SatisfactionHonestly, it was worth going through the pain, swelling, and recovery period. My self-esteem really went up a lot, and looking in the mirror has become enjoyable. When I do makeup, I barely need contouring, and now I feel confident tying my hair up. Taking photos is less stressful too. Every time I hear, “Why did you get so pretty?” I feel proud inside!! To those who are considering itFacial contouring is a major surgery, so it’s true that you need to be cautious.Choosing a hospital and getting enough consultations are really important. But if you’ve been stressed for a long time because of your face shape like I was, the satisfaction can be really high. As of now, 4 months post-op, my willingness to have revision surgery is 0% / regret 0% / satisfaction 100%.I heard it gets even more natural with more time, so I’m looking forward to it.If you have any questions, please leave a comment 💬💕
