Two months after surgery, I developed swelling between my eyebrows. They said it seems like a foreign-body reaction to the silicone, so I’m scheduled to have it removed soon. During my first surgery, I had no foreign-body reaction to the silicone for 15 years, but after the revision, something went wrong in just two months... During the revision, they found that the silicone was bent, so I wonder if that might be why... I had 4 mm of silicone inserted, but even now my nose isn’t high. After removal, I want to leave at least a 6-month gap and give the tissue time to rest. But I think I’ll be really disappointed by the aesthetic loss and my changed appearance. Has anyone here had revision surgery after removal? Or does everyone just live without putting silicone back in?
