Review of chin tip surgery at Yang Yun-dol Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

I had chin tip surgery at Yang Yun-dol Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and I am currently 6 months post-op. Before surgery, I was especially unhappy with my side profile because of my retruded chin, and my biggest concern was that my lower face looked heavy in photos. I was more dissatisfied with my side profile than my frontal appearance, so after thinking about it for a long time, I went in for a consultation. After hearing the professional explanation, I decided to proceed with surgery. Right after surgery, there was more swelling than I expected, and the swelling was especially severe until about 2 weeks. After about a month, the major swelling went down, and from the 3-month mark, it started to look more natural. Now that I am 6 months post-op, most of the minor swelling has also settled, and my jawline has become much more defined. As the chin tip became naturally refined in my side profile, I was able to overcome my complex. Most of all, I like that the change looks natural without being overly prominent. I hope this helps those who are considering chin tip surgery.
