5-year review of double eyelid surgery at a plastic surgery clinic in Cheonan

I had surgery at a plastic surgery clinic in Cheonan around April 2021, and since it’s now February 2026, I’m going to write a rough 5-year review. The surgery cost about 1.8 million won. I had a habit of opening my eyes using my forehead, and if I didn’t, my pupils would be completely covered, so I was diagnosed with ptosis. Since I was going to get double eyelid surgery anyway, I thought it would be better to go to a plastic surgery clinic rather than an ophthalmology clinic. So I had consultations at several plastic surgery clinics in Seoul, and also at several plastic surgery clinics in Cheonan... In the end, I chose this place because the director seemed to pursue the most natural-looking results? Above all, the director said that looking natural is the best, so I just decided to go here. Looking back now, I think the surgery cost was quite high by the standards at the time... But it still hasn’t come undone, and I’ve been living very satisfied with it, so even though it wasn’t cheap, I’m satisfied. These days, though, since 5 years have passed, when my face is extremely swollen, the left side does look like it has loosened a tiny bit. But after a few hours, it goes back again. After that, I also visited this place with my mom to get Botox, and I recently went again too. The director still seems to have a mindset of pursuing natural beauty. People around me don’t know I had double eyelid surgery unless I tell them. And more than anything, opening my eyes is so much easier. My habit of opening my eyes with my forehead disappeared, so my forehead wrinkles went away, and that gives me a really high level of satisfaction.
