Nose Surgery Reviews

Vimin Autologous Costal Cartilage Rhinoplasty, First Surgery, Ajas

It’s been one month since I had my first rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage. My original nose was low, looked wide, and was overall flat, so I had surgery because I wanted to raise it beautifully with a natural-but-defined straight-to-slightly-curved line.

I raised the bridge and the tip with autologous costal cartilage, and now that I’m one month post-op, it’s better than I expected. There is still some swelling left, but compared to before, I can definitely feel the difference.

From the front, my nose used to look spread out, but now it looks much slimmer, and from the side, I think the line came out naturally defined. I wanted a straight-to-slightly-curved line, and it came out exactly with that feeling, so I like it. My nose used to look flat, but now it feels more three-dimensional??

People around me also said my nose changed and that I look much more refined.

I was also a bit worried about harvesting the rib cartilage, but I recovered faster than I expected, and the scar is barely visible. It’s only been one month, but if it’s already like this, I’m looking forward to it getting even better once more swelling goes down.

I had a lot of concerns because of my low, wide, flat-looking nose, but I think I did well getting the surgery.
