Nose Surgery Reviews

One month after donor rib cartilage rhinoplasty~!

I thought about it a lot before deciding to have nose surgery. Rather than an excessive change, I wanted a nose that would naturally harmonize with my overall face, so I had consultations at several clinics. Among them, I decided to have surgery at Lowell Plastic Surgery because I felt I could trust the way they carefully explained my face shape and proportions. Maybe because it’s a single-doctor clinic with only Director Kim Jae-yoon, I feel like they definitely looked at everything in detail from the consultation onward. I had surgery using donor rib cartilage and ear cartilage, and now it’s already been one month! I was nervous on the day of surgery, but the medical staff kindly guided me, so I felt reassured. After surgery, rather than pain, the main discomfort I felt was swelling and nasal congestion. The recovery process wasn’t very different from what I had been told, and after about a week, the swelling gradually went down, so it didn’t significantly interfere with daily life. Now, my nose line has settled fairly naturally, and my face overall feels cleaner and more refined, so I’m very satisfied. In particular, my side profile has become softer, so I like how I look in photos much more. People around me also often say it turned out natural and not overdone, which makes me even more satisfied. Since it has quadruple fixation, I feel like I don’t have to worry about maintenance either, so I think I’m even more satisfied. Overall, I was satisfied with everything from the consultation to the surgery and recovery process!
