I came back after a long time to look into liposuction and thought I’d leave a post. Heads up, casual clipped writing style
Since it was a revision surgery, I really thought about it a lot and went to many consultations. I only went around to hospitals that had the line I wanted most, and I decided after finding a hospital that matched well with the nose style I was aiming for. They also answered the questions I asked the most clearly, so I decided on them
I rested for 3 days and went to work wearing a hat. People did stare a bit when I was commuting, but I went around with the mindset of, “Whatever, they’re not people I’m going to meet again anyway.” I thought about going to a salon to wash my hair, but I just asked my younger sibling to wash it for me
I’m normally the type to swell easily even if I eat a lot or just sleep and wake up, so I was really worried about swelling, but I swelled less than I expected. I did warm/cold compresses and walked a lot, and I didn’t drink pumpkin juice. A lot of people say it depends on the person
Even after removing the cotton packing, taking off the splint, and getting the stitches removed, I really worked hard on aftercare. I followed everything the hospital told me not to do and didn’t do any of it… I think the bruising lasted about ten days. Around a week in, only faint yellow bruises under my eyes were visible, and most of it had faded.. I never postponed a single hospital follow-up date and went every time… I really worked hard on aftercare. Maybe because I was strict about it in the beginning, I’m doing really well now.. I hope everyone makes a good decision, and if there’s anything you’re curious about, leave a comment and I’ll reply
