Revision rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage Photo order: right after suture removal -> 5 months after surgery Around 3 months after surgery, it seemed like the nasal tip was gradually drooping, but it was subtle, so I just left it alone Around months 4-5, a step-off developed between the nasal dorsum and the nasal tip, and because of that, the nasal tip started to look droopy At 5 months, I contacted the clinic about aftercare/AS, and they told me to come in because it would be a follow-up appointment, so I went Without taking a CT or anything, the surgeon who had done the operation just fiddled with my nose a bit, said there was no problem and that it was a natural phenomenon, then left; after that, the consultant kept handling the consultation I had surgery for a straight nose, but when I said it seemed like the nasal tip had drooped, they kept trying to persuade me, saying, “Didn’t you want a straight nose?” and “Your nose looks really fine now,” so I thought maybe my eyes were the problem In conclusion, they said that wanting the nasal tip raised more is my own preference, so I can have revision surgery using ear cartilage to raise the nasal tip more; however, this is not a side effect, cartilage absorption is a natural phenomenon, so there would be an additional cost (1.6 million won) I didn’t go back after 6 months, when surgery would be possible; it was 5 months. It’s not even some other material, I used autologous costal cartilage, which is said to have the best support, so does it make sense for something like in the photos to happen at 5 months? How should I talk to the clinic about this again? It was a clinic I chose really carefully, and it wasn’t a small amount of money either, but I’m angry because the clinic seems so unconscionable
