The overall swelling has definitely gone down a lot. However, maybe because some residual swelling still remains, my philtrum feels like it looks a little long, and the tightness hasn’t completely disappeared yet. At the one-month mark, my whole face was swollen overall, so there was quite a noticeable feeling that the lower part looked saggy, like jowls, but now that it’s been 2 months, I can feel that area gradually getting better too. It hasn’t completely settled yet, but it’s definitely improving little by little each month. What I’m most satisfied with is the improvement in mouth protrusion. Before surgery, I was always bothered by how my mouth looked protrusive, but now my side profile looks much more refined, so I’m really satisfied. My face shape was originally on the round side, and with the swelling added on top, I still don’t strongly feel a dramatic change like, “Wow, it really got smaller” or “It got slimmer.” Still, when I look at photos, I can see the facial contour gradually becoming more defined, so I think my satisfaction will become much higher once more time passes and the swelling goes down further. I’m still in the recovery stage, so I’m going to try not to rush and just wait. I hope the day comes soon when the residual swelling is gone and everything has fully settled!
