Day 4 review after square jaw and chin surgery! - Day 6 added!

I had quick zygoma reduction 7-8 years ago, and they said they could still set my cheekbones in by another 0.8 cm now, but I didn’t do my cheekbones this time and had two types of facial contouring. It’s now day 4 after my chin and square jaw surgery! On the first day, it hurt so much that I was hospitalized for a day and just slept all day. After I was discharged on day 2, I thought, “Is the swelling going down a bit?” But by day 3, the inside of my mouth was all swollen, and it kept puffing up like a balloon, so my face felt tight Today, day 4, I had the bandage removed, and I think I started going out for light walks from day 3! Since I had the bandage removed a bit late, it actually feels like I got more swollen, but after removing it in the morning, walking a bit in the afternoon, and doing various things, it seemed to go down a lot by evening. The bruising isn’t severe, but I do have some around my lips, and when I remember, I wear the compression band for about 30 minutes to 1 hour without making it too tight! I’m someone who has to reduce the swelling quickly over the holiday and get back to daily life and work Starting tomorrow, I’m going to focus on swelling! Oh, and for reference, even though the swelling hasn’t gone down yet, I’m extremely satisfied with the surgery just from my side profile. My chin looked slightly long from the side, almost like a protruding chin, so it was always a complex of mine, but even while it’s swollen tight, it looks pretty, so I feel really good. Until day 5, I had candy-in-the-cheek swelling and looked chubby, so I was so swollen that I thought this must be what I’d look like if I gained weight To be honest, I did wear the compression band for an hour or two a day, but cold compresses were so cold that I couldn’t do them often. So I wondered if that was why I was more swollen, but on day 6, I lay down comfortably for the first time, slept deeply, and woke up to find the swelling had gone down unbelievably. The bruising around my lips also faded a lot, and although I still have a lot of swelling, I was so curious that I tried putting on light makeup, and I was really satisfied. Today is day 7, and it has definitely gone down more than yesterday. My walks were random, like 2,000 steps one day and 5,000 steps another day, so I didn’t walk a lot, but I drank lukewarm pu-erh tea often! I heard it’s good for inflammation and diuresis, so I drank pu-erh tea instead of coffee, and I think daily life was possible from days 5-6.
