My facial asymmetry is pretty severe, and I think the angle of my jaw deviation was around 9 degrees. So an orthodontist even recommended double-jaw surgery to me. But my eyes are also very asymmetrical, and they said double-jaw surgery would only correct the lower face, so I thought I should just give up and live with it.. This time, I had revision incisional double-eyelid surgery, and the surgery itself went well, so my pupils show in the same proportion.. But now that they are matched like this, I keep wondering, were my eye heights always this different? The asymmetry looks really obvious. Is there anyone like this? Probably not, right? Before, the angles and shapes of both eyes were different, so I just thought they were uneven eyes, but now the eyes have the same shape but different heights, so it feels confusing. It especially shows in photos. Apart from the double-eyelid surgery, it’s really driving me mentally unwell. I’m thinking about, after 6 months, lowering just one eye with lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty. What do you think? The best method would probably be double-jaw surgery, but I’m scared..
