Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of my revision eye surgery after my double eyelids completely came undone

After my first surgery, I lived thinking, “Well, even a thin line is better than monolids~” But as more time passed, the line kept coming undone, and it was seriously stressful..... People who hadn’t known me for very long didn’t really think I had double eyelid surgery; they just knew me as someone with monolids who sometimes had an extra crease.. I wanted clear double eyelids and eyes that looked bigger, so it stressed me out so much. And since it felt like I kept using only my eyebrows and forehead to open my eyes, the fatigue I felt was a really big issue. So after thinking it over, I decided to get revision surgery, and this time, beyond just the line, I looked for a method that would last long + make it comfortable to open my eyes. Since it was revision surgery, rather than just vaguely going somewhere because the photos looked pretty, the first thing I checked was the director’s experience. At least 15 years of experience... especially proper experience with revision eye surgery. I really searched online and went around in person to find a hospital with lots of experience At first, Louvre’s aesthetic sense was my style, but when I looked at reviews, there were mostly nose reviews, so I wondered if it would be okay. But once I checked the director’s experience first, it passed.. Since aesthetic sense can’t be ignored, I went thinking I’d decide after the consultation. There were re~~~ally a lot of people... so I waited about 10 minutes, but I think it was still better than the notoriously long waits at some other hospitals. I had a consultation with Director Bㅊㅇ, and he immediately said, “You’re concerned because of the strength when opening your eyes, right?” I was surprised. He had only briefly checked the condition of my eyes.. He said that when I closed and opened my eyes, I consciously used my eyebrow muscles to open them, and because of that, ptosis correction was almost essential. And although I don’t have a lot of fat on my upper eyelids, my skin isn’t thin, so he said the line needed to be corrected through an incisional method. He said that would improve the line coming undone + the strength used to open my eyes, which had been stressing me out. This was the place where I liked the explanation, surgical method, cost, and reviews, so I got the surgery there. It was my first time getting ptosis correction during revision surgery, so maybe that’s why I felt more tightness after surgery than I did after my first surgery. But surprisingly, there was almost no swelling or bruising..... The reason I didn’t do an incisional method the first time was because I was worried the swelling would be too severe, but if it was going to be like this, I even thought I should’ve just done incisional surgery from the first time and not created a reason to need revision Though this probably also depends on skill.. Anyway... the after photo was taken less than 2 weeks later, and since my eyes look clearer now, they just look much bigger than before even without doing my makeup properly.. Now people around me finally ask if I got double eyelids and say it turned out so well, so I’m satisfied Oh, and my eyes are on the horizontally long side, but everywhere except here recommended canthoplasty too^^.. Huge thumbs-up to the director who told me to do only double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction without canthoplasty.. If I had done more, I think it would’ve looked too much Anyway, I’m so happy the revision surgery was successful. Now it’s much better when I open my eyes, and the tight feeling has also gone away a lot.
