Because of false explanations under the Medical Service Act and the side effects, I did not want follow-up care or A/S treatment afterward, so I requested a refund from the clinic, Ino Plastic Surgery Clinic. Their reply was that they could only process half a refund and could not apologize. I am writing this without taking the refund, hoping there will be no more victims like me.

Ino Plastic Surgery Clinic falsely explained that seeing a follow-up with a guardian would be a violation of the Medical Service Act, and I truly have nothing to say about the act of deceiving consumers. I was told that Ino Plastic Surgery Clinic does not originally have follow-up visits with the director after surgery. Please know this before using it. (This is the information I was personally given.)
I am writing this in the hope that there will never be another victim like me. If you are interested in lower eyelid repositioning or interested in this clinic, please read this post at least once and make a choice you will not regret.

I understand that my post is treated as if I am some strange person, and that things are then smoothed over in words and turned into a friendly consultation. First of all, the Ino Plastic Surgery Clinic where I had surgery appears to be promoting itself in many ways through the platform, other communities, and Instagram. Once you have surgery, you can never go back to the way things were before, and even if you pay any amount of money, you cannot restore what has been damaged. That is a fact.
Speaking as someone who has actually had the surgery, I regret choosing this clinic because I could not see posts like this beforehand, and I even started to dislike myself. At Ino Plastic Surgery Clinic, I underwent lower eyelid repositioning + dark-circle nano fat grafting + front cheek fat grafting, and afterward a lot of side effects appeared.
- Half of my face lost sensation, nerve damage (tingling, cheekbone, nose, lower eyelid, all the way to the lips). In cold weather, it feels cold as if water has entered inside the face, and when eating spicy food, all the nerves are stimulated with a tingling sensation. - Development of triangle eyes. (The lower eyelids are fixed and do not rise; no smiling eyes.) The eyes are simply uneven, and they do not close completely. - Dark circles became more pronounced. (People around me kept saying the dark circles got worse after surgery.) - The aegyo-sal border disappeared. (And more, etc.)
Although there were side effects, I requested before/after photos of the surgery so that an objective judgment could be made, but they said they had discarded them and that they could not be checked. (They said they had discarded photos of patients who were not even a year out yet.) During consultation, they say they are professional and that people line up to have surgery without even seeing the director. Never trust such words 100000%. You have to be careful not to be tempted by people, and the consultation manager explains things as if they were a doctor. (Even when I first consulted with a friend, there was no consultation with the director. When I said that if there was no consultation with the director, who would decide to have surgery without seeing the director, only then was a consultation with the director arranged.)
After these side effects appeared, when I requested a follow-up with the director, they would not schedule one. (I will omit the long story.) They only said to wait, and as time passed they delayed things only with evasions and placating words, saying I had to keep observing it over time, and I was never allowed to see the follow-up. After continuing to request it for 8-9 months, I was finally able to have a follow-up with the director. The answers I heard after the follow-up were truly even harder to understand. - Triangle eyes (when I asked them to reopen it and fix it again -> they said that was not possible.) They said they could not do it because it was dissolvable thread - Dark circles (they said some people need a third fat grafting or, depending on the individual, it may not go away.) - Nerve damage (they said it will all get better with time....) - Why would the nerves extend beyond the lower eyelid to the lips? (They said, “We didn’t touch that area...?”) (Answer from another hospital - all nerves are connected, so if the lower eyelid is touched, even the lips can be damaged.) etc...... lower eyelid fat repositioning, lower eyelid fat repositioning, lower eyelid fat repositioning, lower eyelid fat repositioning, Because I could not understand it, I requested another follow-up with a guardian, but they confidently gave me false information, saying that seeing a follow-up with a guardian is a violation of the Medical Service Act...... (photo attached) To leave evidence, I asked several times by phone and KakaoTalk, but all the staff gave the same answer. (both the coordinating team and the consultation manager)
I even asked a detailed question. If that were the case, then wouldn’t all hospitals and university hospitals be violating the Medical Service Act? Then they kindly said, “Our hospital is a university hospital and therefore not in violation of the Medical Service Act because a surgical delegation agreement is written, but we are a private plastic surgery clinic, so this applies to us, and all responsibility lies with the clinic, so there is nothing we can do,” and I was kindly but falsely given detailed explanations. Does that make any sense? After I said I would confirm with a lawyer and ask what they meant, those staff members only said they were merely relaying the director’s answer. ^^;;;;;;;;;;;
Since I did not want to say anything more, I asked for a full refund and for all the staff who had given false explanations to apologize, and to just finish it there. They said they would give only a half refund, and that the staff would handle things internally with incident reports, etc., but that an apology would be difficult. I told them I would not contact them in the future about treatment, A/S, reoperation, or a refund, and that I would proceed with the things I could do.
And after that, someone from the general management office, whom I had never even seen at the clinic, contacted me and said they were a manager named Shin Nara, but their real name was Shin Sang-seon, and they were using an alias ^^;;;;;
Anyway, the surgical result itself is one thing, but if the aftercare had been handled this way and the response had been like this, I would not have had the surgery. And I was told that there are no future follow-up visits with the director at this clinic. Ino Plastic Surgery Clinic is a clinic where you cannot have future follow-up visits with the director. So please be aware and make your surgery decision accordingly.
Very lastly, as someone who has experienced plastic surgery side effects, I want to say one thing:
Posts about “side effect reviews” are temporarily taken down or buried, so in practice they are hard for consumers to see, which makes it difficult to make the right choice. On all kinds of apps and communities, most of the posts that go up are only the successful ones. Even posts saying surgery went well are often written by the clinic, brokers, or promotional agencies, and there are many such cases. Think about it for a moment. If a person who had surgery was satisfied, there are not really patients who keep managing review posts and comments.... Of course, if they are grateful to the clinic and agree to write one after receiving an event discount, then they may write it. But the point is that many people decide to have surgery easily after seeing posts whose source they cannot verify.... So always be careful and look into everything thoroughly.
If you always have plastic surgery, please think carefully and be cautious. I have also had a lot of different kinds of plastic surgery, not just one, but after this incident I lost all thoughts of any more surgery. Checking the side effects tab on Baritalk and the side effects tab on the community and looking at “real reviews” is helpful. (Community review-style posts contain many promotional posts. Please keep that in mind, understand the risks of surgery to some extent, and make your decision carefully. The clinic will never take responsibility, only evade it, and it turns into a legal fight and medical litigation.
