I was stressed because people always told me my face looked strong because of my cheekbones. In photos, they felt like they looked even more protruding, so I booked a consultation and went. Honestly, surgery still scared me, and I went because I wanted to understand my face properly and was curious whether it could be addressed with procedures or something like that instead. The director looked at my face shape, muscles, and even fat distribution while explaining why it looked that way, so I trusted him. It wasn’t like he was just saying we should shave the bone no matter what; he showed me before-and-after photos of other people, explained how surgery would need to be done to soften the look, and also told me realistic expectations, which I liked. He didn’t recommend anything excessive and even took my schedule and recovery period into account, so it felt less burdensome. Even just having the consultation helped me get a sense of direction, so I feel a bit more at ease than before. He said I didn’t have to decide right away, which made me trust him even more, and I want to tell people who are worried about their cheekbones like me to try getting a consultation once.
