Because my eye-opening strength is weak, I had even considered a forehead lift, but I wondered if it could also be corrected with double eyelid surgery or ptosis correction, so this was one of the places I went to for a consultation. Here, they didn’t recommend ptosis correction, but recommended line-reinforcement eye shaping. I was told it has stronger fixation, so it won’t come undone later? Something like that. They also said that if the issue is insufficient eye-opening strength, double eyelid surgery alone could be enough. Of course, if I get a forehead lift, my eyes may look a bit more open and refreshed, but if focusing only on eye-opening strength, their opinion was that it would be better to do ptosis correction together. That also seemed reasonable, so I did feel a bit conflicted, but they told me to think it over carefully and come back. I liked that there was nothing like rushing me or pressuring me.
