Review of Nose Surgery at B Plastic Surgery Clinic

My nose was originally really very low. It felt like I barely had a nasal bridge, and especially because the area between my eyebrows was low, when I looked at my side profile, it was almost as if there was no starting point to my nose at all. It felt like it came straight down from my forehead, so my face looked flat overall, and whenever I took photos, my nose was always the part I felt most disappointed with. Even from the front, my nose didn’t give my face a clear central balance, so my features didn’t look defined, which was stressful.

I went to several consultations, and most places recommended costal cartilage. They said I would need rib cartilage if I wanted to build it up definitively, but since it was my first surgery, I kept hesitating because I was worried about scarring and the burden of recovery. Then the last place I went to was a plastic surgery clinic, and there they said I didn’t necessarily need costal cartilage. They said it was important to naturally raise the starting point between the eyebrows, so I proceeded with a customized implant for my glabella/nasal root type, along with septal cartilage and ear cartilage.

The biggest change after surgery is the area between my eyebrows. Before, I barely had a line there, but now it connects smoothly and I have a nasal bridge. It doesn’t feel excessively high; it feels like it has risen calmly in a way that suits my face, so I’m satisfied. My side profile changed especially a lot, and the nasal tip was also refined naturally, so overall I think I look much more sophisticated. People around me say it doesn’t look very obvious, but that my overall vibe has changed, so I’m even more satisfied. The stress I had because of my nose has decreased a lot, and now taking photos feels much more comfortable.
