I had functional nose surgery yesterday. They said that when it’s only cosmetic surgery, they usually don’t put packing in, but since I changed it to functional nose surgery and had rhinitis surgery at the same time, they put in something like a jelly-type hemostatic agent? Dissolvable packing? Has anyone had this put in before?? They said it’s different from regular packing, so it can dissolve and run out or come out like jelly. Today, something like a lump of jelly came out, either toward the back of my throat or through my nose. When I asked, they said I could remove it if it comes out, but because it’s Lunar New Year, they also told me to take off the taping myself.. Do I have to live with my nose blocked until all of this dissolves... If anyone has experienced this, please help..
