I’ve been worrying about dark circles under my eyes for 10 years, and now I want to get under-eye fat repositioning, so I’m looking into it really seriously. I’ve been to all the well-known places, and I’ve gone to nearly 8 consultations, and now I’m trying to narrow it down between two places (ㅇㅂㅈ, ㅇㅇㅅ) both are near Gangnam Station It’s not easyㅠㅠ
-Duration At ㅇㅂㅈ, Director Shin said the expected duration is 5–10 years, and at ㅇㅇㅅ, the one-person chief director said the duration is almost permanent
-Anesthesia Both said it’s brief sedation anesthesia, so it isn’t administered by an anesthesiologist, but under the operating director’s supervision (I’m wondering if that’s okay for under-eye fat repositioning sedation anesthesia, and I’m worried too;)
-Taping ㅇㅂㅈ: remove it at home after 3–4 days ㅇㅇㅅ: after applying thick taping, visit the hospital after 7 days and have it removed
-Consultation At ㅇㅂㅈ, they said I’d have to wait a year to see Director Shin, so I didn’t do a consultation and just booked the surgery right away He seems really famous in this field, and I thought there must be a reason people wait that long, so I’d have the consultation on the day of surgery and then go straight into surgery, but a tiny part of me wonders if it’s really okay to do it like that; The director at ㅇㅇㅅ said he used to be the head of the eye plastic surgery center at a large hospital in Gangnam and has been doing only eye plastic surgery for 20 years During the consultation, he very confidently said the under-eye groove would improve, and that fat grafting would inevitably be something I might regret later, so he absolutely does not do it under the eyes He also confidently said that as for the duration, only wrinkles would form due to aging, and the under-eye groove would not come back He said many people seeking revision surgery come to him, and the Naver reviews are extremely good. But it’s hard to find reviews on plastic surgery apps and such, so that’s what I’m worried about
Both seem like good clinics, but for ㅇㅂㅈ, I wonder if I booked the surgery date too hastily without even having a consultation They mention a duration of 5–10 years, which means there are people for whom it lasts 5 years, so I wonder if that’s too short I think they might recommend fat grafting, but after hearing the consultation at ㅇㅇㅅ, I don’t really want to do fat grafting It seems like there will be a lot of people, so I’m also worried whether they’ll properly check my post-op progress and such
ㅇㅇㅅ has so few surgery reviews, but when I look at the Naver receipt reviews, the reviews are so good When I actually went for the consultation, I could feel his experience and confidence, so I started to trust him He said he fixes it by bringing the thread outside, and this thread is removed after 7 days, so there will be no marks left on the outside at all
