I was concerned because my eyes were small, and especially because they were narrow horizontally, which made them look closed-off. Although it was double eyelid surgery, rather than an unnatural double eyelid, I wanted eyes that looked bigger than before and a natural inner double eyelid. After surgery, about 2 weeks passed and the swelling disappeared completely. My eyes settled into a natural inner double eyelid, and because I had epicanthoplasty done together, they also became wider horizontally. Originally, the size of the bones on both sides was different, so my left and right eye sizes were different, but through surgery they were matched to some extent. There was almost no pain during or after surgery, and the stitches on the double eyelid line were removed the day after surgery, while the stitches from the epicanthoplasty area were removed after one week.
