One-month review after square jaw reduction + cortical osteotomy

Since I was young, my left jaw was more developed, so compared with the right side it looked angular and kind of sunken? The asymmetry was really severe. I tried everything, including square jaw Botox and lifting treatments, but since it was a bone issue, I was never satisfied with any of them. Whenever the wind blew, I was busy trying to cover my face with my hair. I had always wanted square jaw surgery, but because of the cost and because it is a major surgery, I only kept thinking about it. Then, after entering my 30s, as I watched my face lose fat and gradually become peanut-shaped because of Botox, I decided I should have surgery before it got any later. After a consultation, I scheduled the surgery date a few days later! Since I only wanted my jaw done, I thought that if they recommended all three facial contouring procedures during the consultation, I would look for another clinic. But the director said I did not need my cheekbones or chin tip done and that proceeding with only the square jaw surgery would be enough, so I actually trusted them more! After surgery, it was a battle with swelling, and because it felt like the swelling was going down slowly, it was really hard up until the one-month mark. But even though there is still a lot more swelling to go down, seeing my face gradually becoming a V-line has given me confidence, and I am so satisfied!! The left side was shaved down more because I also had cortical osteotomy there, so the swelling is going down asymmetrically, but compared with before, it has become much sharper, so I am very satisfied!!! I regret why I hesitated over the surgery all this time ㅠㅠㅠ I should have done it a little earlier.. I am even more excited for the next two and three months >.<
