This time, I was looking into surgery for my grandmother, but middle-aged/older-age procedures weren’t an area I had been interested in, so I had no idea what kinds of surgeries there were or what effects were supposed to be good lol!!!! But since it was my grandmother’s surgery, I couldn’t just do it casually, and I wanted to look into it properly for her~ So I studied hard, looking through all kinds of YouTube videos and community reviews!~~ Then I ended up getting a consultation with a director at a hospital, and he had a lot of cases involving middle-aged/older-age surgery. He looked at my grandmother’s drooping eye area and carefully explained, step by step, why those discomforts were happening, which I liked. It didn’t feel like he was just recommending that we do everything no matter what. He organized and explained only the parts that were truly needed, so I trusted him more, and that’s why I decided to have the surgery done by that director at the hospital! Before my grandmother had the brow lift, she had a habit of tensing the area between her eyebrows, so whenever she talked, she always looked like she was frowning. But it turned out that was because her eyes didn’t have enough strength. After the brow lift, she said opening her eyes is much more comfortable even without tensing the area between her eyebrows! She said the lower blepharoplasty area felt slightly tight in the beginning, but once the swelling went down, she didn’t mention that at all anymore. Now that the under-eye fat and wrinkles have been corrected, she looks much younger, and when my grandmother’s friends came over, they all said her impression looked better, so I felt even more proud for no reason haha. Honestly, I was really worried because she was having surgery at an older age, but maybe because we carefully followed the precautions from the hospital and managed the swelling diligently, it seems like she recovered well without any major discomfort! This time, I really feel like I did something meaningful for my grandmother, so I’m genuinely proud.
