I was concerned about my asymmetrical eyes, so it’s now been about 2 weeks since I had double eyelid surgery with Director Lee Hee-young at Uni Plastic Surgery. Before surgery, I was really worried that the swelling and tightness would last a long time, but I was surprised because there was less swelling than I expected and recovery was fast. There was some swelling for the first 3–4 days, but I went in twice in the middle for swelling laser treatment, and after diligently applying ice packs, my eyes definitely felt lighter after a week. I only had one side done to correct the asymmetry, but when I went to work on day 5, my male coworkers didn’t even notice. I’m satisfied because it looks that natural. Now, I barely feel any pulling from the stitches, and there’s no major discomfort in daily life. I’m satisfied when I look in the mirror because my eye lines are symmetrical!
