InMode and Shurink Review

I had 3 sessions

InMode FX, Shurink 300

I don’t have much facial fat, but I have some fat around the upper jaw area, so in photos my face tends to look wider than it does in person. Also, I had some fat near the nasolabial fold lines, so I proceeded to improve that area.

I found a place near Gangnam Station known for InMode and got it done there. It was XX Clinic. It’s not a factory-style clinic, and originally there was 1 director, but now there are 2.

Before the procedure, they do a design consultation. They also sketch it out, but it felt like they were just drawing roughly rather than tailoring it to my areas of concern. Still, I thought they would do the procedure well, but they mainly focused on the double chin, which had nothing to do with my concerns. They did do the whole face, but even during the procedure, I could clearly feel that they were focusing on the double chin. The bruising was also mostly heavy only around the double chin. When I asked why they focused on the double chin, they said they did the whole face, but the double chin bruises easily.

For the 2nd session, I asked them to focus not on the double chin, but on the areas beside the nose, the nasolabial folds, and the upper jaw, and they focused on those areas. It wasn’t that my jaw bruised easily like in the 1st session; it was that they simply hadn’t treated those areas that way back then. I got a lot of bruising beside the nose and on the side cheeks.

There is a very slight fat-loss effect, almost noticeable but almost not. The problem is, one front cheek became slightly hollow. It doesn’t show much yet, but I feel like if something goes wrong from here, it will become noticeable. It definitely feels like they don’t tailor it to each individual, but just do the same thing uniformly like a machine, and if the patient asks them to do here or there, they just do it carelessly.

Conclusion: I can’t keep doing it here anymore. InMode and Shurink have a fat-destroying effect, and once fat is destroyed, it does not permanently come back, so the design is really, really, really important. For people with a lot of facial fat, a place that does it for a long time and strongly may be better, but if that’s not the case, I think it’s better to go somewhere that checks the design and performs the procedure meticulously.

Additionally, at places that offer cost-effective prices, it’s hard to find a doctor who checks the design and performs the procedure carefully, because they rotate patients all day long for InMode or lifting procedures, so they just do it mindlessly. They say they consult with you, but that’s just a formality, and the opinion of people around me is that in reality, many of them just do the procedure carelessly.

Or, as the safest option, I think only doing the jaw area would be the safest.

So, please, on a human level, let me know a place that designs InMode well and performs it carefully.
