It’s been one month since I had revision rhinoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic, and the crooked feeling in my nose is completely gone. I think it turned out nicely with a straight-to-slightly-curved profile, so I’m happy. I wanted it slightly straight-to-curved rather than completely straight. After my previous nose surgery, the bridge wasn’t very high, and I even developed a hump, so this time, during the revision surgery, I had the silicone removed and had surgery using autologous costal cartilage. I was worried because there was some swelling after surgery, but now a lot of the swelling has gone down and my impression looks more natural, so I’m satisfied. What I liked was that the director personally checked my progress very thoroughly and took good care of the aftercare too, so the recovery process felt reassuring and comfortable. I guess post-surgery care really is important. It’s only been one month, but most of the major swelling is gone, so looking in the mirror has become fun Don’t you think it’ll look even better once all the minor swelling goes down?
