Review of Full-Face Fat Grafting + Under-Eye Micro Fat Grafting

As I got past my mid-30s, I started worrying a lot because my face looked hollow, especially because the hollowness under my eyes had become severe. I was debating whether to get fat grafting or fillers, but I decided on fat grafting, did my research, and chose The Way Plastic Surgery in Gangnam because it was close to my home and had good reviews, then went in for a visit. Since I did not have much time, I had the consultation and surgery on the same day. After I first arrived, I had a consultation with the consultant and then with the director. I wanted something natural above all else, but I was worried because sometimes surgery is done more according to the director’s style than the patient’s needs. However, the director seemed to put the patient’s needs first, so after the consultation I felt reassured and lay down on the operating table. I was lying there nervous before sedation anesthesia, but the operating room nurses were kind, and the director also treated me kindly, so I felt at ease and lost consciousness lol. And on the day after surgery, because of the swelling, my face did not look the way I expected, and I felt like it was slightly uneven, so I got worried and had a KakaoTalk consultation. They said it could be because of swelling, so we agreed to watch the progress for about one week and consult again afterward. But after one week passed, the swelling in the areas that had looked uneven went down, and it changed into a natural-looking line. There was still some minor swelling, but after about three weeks, the swelling overall had gone down, and the facial volume I had wanted came back! I liked the under-eye micro fat grafting the most, which had been my biggest concern. As the fat was added, the wrinkles smoothed out slightly and the fine lines became lighter, and the concern that had definitely made me look older disappeared. At the same time, the overall volume in my face looked naturally restored. My coworkers also thought I somehow looked prettier, but they did not think I had had surgery, so I liked it even more haha. Of course, I did confess the truth later. Now, about 3-4 months later, there is no swelling, and I do feel like a little of the fat has gone down, but since I have only had the first round, I think if I proceed with the second round as well, I will be able to get satisfying volume and longevity. Also, there are no side effects such as fat lumping, which I was most worried about. Because of time, I could not visit several places for in-person consultations and only went to The Way, but I think it was an excellent choice.
