Hi!! I came to write about what I prepared for day 1 + my review after getting it done.
I’m... as you can tell if you see what I’ve written, I’m not some promotional whatever, I’m just an office worker with a normal company job. I didn’t even do the thing where they give you a discount if you write for promotional purposes!! Whatever, I’ll just pay a bit more with my year-end bonus, why bother posting several times... (I begged so much to take annual leave because Lunar New Year was included this timeㅋㅋㅋ)
I got ptosis correction (sleepy eyes) + double eyelid surgery + silicone + nostril reduction together, and I already had double eyelids before, but the multiple eyelid creases were severe! They said surgery would be difficult because I have protruding eyes, so they drew on my face several timesㅋㅋㅋ.. They said the multiple creases could come back again, but it was so stressful that I chose an incision to tidy them up for now. Looking at the line now, it is a bit high, but I guess it’ll get lower as I age, whatever.
For my nose, it was a bulbous nose + thick skin + I had some nasal bridge + visible nostrils. In short, hmm, how should I put it, it felt like a pretty pig nose.. Still, I hated how it looked spread out from below, so I got surgery! Right now, from the line I can vaguely see, I’m very satisfied!! But when they were drawing, I showed them a glamorous photo of what I wanted, and with this exact face -ㅅ- they said, “That nose won’t come out from your nose..” so I was like, “Ah, yesㅋㅋㅋㅋ” and just left it to the director’s aesthetic sense.. (I’ll bring photos after the splint comes off)
I was really worried because ID was said to be factory-like + blacklisted, so I requested CCTV.. (I thought if I requested CCTV, they’d do everything from beginning to end themselves..) Director ㄱㄷㅎ is the director of the nose center, so I felt like he wouldn’t run away anywhere (my own brain logic). But this doctor is really good with the scalpel. It’s only day 1, but I don’t have much bruising or swelling.. It’s fascinating. When I look at reviews around me, people swell up a lot!! I’m writing this while doing cold compresses because I’m scared the swelling will come up tomorrow..
First, among the things I prepared, what I think I did best! Humidifier, neck pillow, triangular cushion, Daiso sauce bottle (a million kisses to the person here who recommended this ㅠㅠ sauce bottle is the best)
I don’t have money to buy things like a recliner, so I got cost-effective items. For the humidifier, just buy any 5L one on Coupang. I bought the neck pillow from Temu. The triangular cushion is a Nouveau triangular backrest cushion, 40,000 won. For the mirror, I searched things like “makeup mirror tabletop vanity magnifying desk height-adjustable magnifying mirror double-sided makeup cosmetic use” and bought any one in the 10,000-won range. (I bought it thinking they’d use ear cartilage, but they didn’t use it^^)
Honestly, with just this much, the surgery hospital gives you most of what you need, right? But buy a lot of individually packaged cotton swabs from Daiso. They said I didn’t necessarily need sterile cotton swabs, so I bought them in bulkㅎㅎ
Also, a looooot of nasal mucus comes out, so I think you should buy a little extra gauze too. Right now, I have more nasal mucus than blood coming out..
Oh, and the thing about getting a headache after ptosis correction is real. But it’s not like “Ah, my head is going to explode!!!!” It’s more like a throbbing migraine << If you take one Tylenol and put something cold against your head, it gets a bit better.
