I originally had inner double eyelids, but I lived using double eyelid tape. It was cumbersome and annoying, so I decided to get double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction. I thought double eyelid surgery was an easy procedure, so I decided to just get it done in Daegu where I live. I went to 5-6 famous clinics in Daegu, and the clinic I chose was also a one-doctor clinic, and they said they would make my eyes the way I wanted, so I booked right away.. Right after the surgery ended, the director said the left side had bled a lot, so the swelling was a bit severe. I thought, oh then it’s just swelling, it’ll go down~ and let it pass. When I went to get the stitches removed, the director also said the swelling on the left side was severe. I felt something was wrong at that point, but I waited, thinking it would be okay once the swelling went down.. But even after a month passed, it still looked strange. In the end, the ptosis correction is uneven, and the double eyelids are uneven too.. It’s so different from the line I wanted, and I miss my old eyes so much. I feel like I’m going crazy. It’s only day 36, so there is still swelling left, but on the right side, if the swelling goes down any more from here, I feel like the double eyelid will disappear completely
