Review of Natural Adhesion Revision Eye Surgery at a Plastic Surgery Clinic

I visited 6 places for consultations and got revision eye surgery at a plastic surgery clinic, and I’m finally satisfied because I got the eye style I wanted When I had my first surgery, I only went to 1 place for a consultation and had surgery right away, but this time, after really doing a lot of online research + in-person consultations, I think I could feel, “This place is overtreating me,” and “This place isn’t sincerely explaining my surgery to me.”

I’ll explain the things I was curious about while looking into revision surgery, based on what the director explained to me.

A. Does revision eye surgery absolutely have to be done only with an incisional method? -No no, it doesn’t. He said the method used for the first surgery is important too, but what matters more is the current condition of the eyes. My skin is thin, and for my first surgery I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty, but because the fixation strength wasn’t strong, he said the line could be changed sufficiently with natural adhesion as well.

A. My eyes look slightly sleepy; do I need revision ptosis correction? -He said no to this too. He said if the ptosis correction is taken further from here, there’s a high risk of overcorrection, and if both lines are made higher than they are now, the ratio between the eyebrows and eyes would change a little, making the eyes look less sleepy. Honestly, if I did ptosis correction again it would add cost, so I didn’t want to do it either, but I was going to if it was necessary.. I thought it was a relief that he said I didn’t need to

A. I want the line to be an in-out line; would that make my eyes look less defined? He said no. The director showed me semi-out, out, and in-out lines, and said that for my eye proportions, the in-out line was the most ideal. He said everyone has a double eyelid line that suits them, and the height also changes in detail. The explanation was extremely detailed, so I went ahead with the revision surgery.

It’s now been over a month since my revision eye surgery. As you can see in the photos, my eyes have become much more defined than before, and maybe because of that, even without makeup that emphasizes the eyelashes, my eyes look bigger, which I liked. Personally, I think eyes are really hard to fix with revision surgery (because there’s adhesion from the existing line and it’s hard to match symmetry), so I went to a place with a director specializing in eyes, and I’m happy with it. I hope this line stays maintained like this.
