It’s been exactly about 1 month since surgery. Right up until I went into the operating room, I was looking at posts in a community saying ㅇㄷ canthoplasty all went back to the original state, so I was debating whether to do it or not... but I guess it’s true that lateral canthoplasty either has side effects or just reverts back 😖 I got the stitches removed 1 week after surgery, and I liked the shape of my eyes the most then My outer eye corners came back up in real time, so now there’s almost no difference from before surgery... Still, I don’t have any side effects like a ㄷ-shaped deformity, scar tissue, or anything like that, so I think that’s a relief at least 😬 Maybe it just gets slightly red if I rub hard with eye remover? On day 4 after surgery, I wore glasses and went to work with the stitches still in, but it wasn’t very noticeable, and the surgical process didn’t hurt much except for the anesthetic injection! If you want to try lateral canthoplasty but are scared of getting side effects, and you have money to spare(?), I recommend it... I just think the surgery called lateral canthoplasty itself doesn’t really have much effect for most people 💧
