I had my double eyelid surgery with buried sutures from Director Kim Dong-hyun, and I remember it being around 2006. I didn't have the inner corner done, and I think the line was set at about 8-9 mm as an in-line fold. My original eyes were average-sized, thin eyes with a very faint inner double fold, and a thick, dramatic line wouldn't suit my eyes. I also prefer a natural look, so after consulting at three clinics, I chose Yes. The consultation with the director was very kind, not authoritative, and had a warm feeling, but the nurses and staff were not great. Of course, it was so long ago that the staff probably all changed. The surgical result made my eyes slightly asymmetrical, but the director said there was no need to correct it, and since it didn't seem that bad, I was reasonably satisfied. Now that I'm older, my eyes have started to sag, and they've returned to my original eyes with the thin double fold I had before surgery. I guess I need to look into revision surgery.
