Since I’m a student about to enter my first year of high school, I kept wondering whether it might be too early to have double eyelid surgery. But the reviews for the director’s student double eyelid surgeries at the plastic surgery clinic looked good, so I made a consultation appointment and visited. He pinpointed only the exact areas I wanted, designed the line for me, and said I probably didn’t need medial epicanthoplasty. I trusted that there was no pressure to have other procedures, so I booked the surgery right away, and it’s now been about 1 month since the surgery. Because I’m still young, I wanted a natural result that wasn’t flashy or excessive. Since my eye-opening strength was weak, I asked about ptosis correction and an incisional method, but he said that once I become an adult, I might have a different eye shape I want, so for now buried suture would be better. So I proceeded with buried suture double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + lateral and lower canthoplasty. For about 3 days, there was slight discomfort from a foreign-body sensation, but after that it was fine. The swelling also all went down by the 2nd week, and the result looks natural and turned out well, so I’m very satisfied !!
